The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, January 19 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell his stubborn son to hand Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) over to him.
Also coming up, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will eavesdrop. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will argue with Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will brainstorm with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Y&R spoilers tease Noah will ask his father if he plans to kill Matt. Nick will say he doesn’t need to know what he’s going to do with him. Sienna will come down the stairs and eavesdrop. “I should have done it years ago, I blame myself for not seeing it through,” Nick will tell his son. He’ll pop his last pill and continue moaning in pain. Noah will say he belongs in the hospital. “No!” Nick will shout.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sienna Tells Victor Matt Clark’s In Nick’s Trunk
Meanwhile, Victor, Victoria and Adam will put their heads together. Victoria will say the more the news is spreading, the worse it looks for them. “We’re in serious trouble,” Victor will admit. He’ll get a call from security and Sienna will walk in and say she needs his help.
Adam will ask if there’s anything they can do but Sienna will say she needs to speak to Victor. After Victoria and Adam leave, she’ll tell Victor she overheard Noah and Nick talking about something very disturbing. “I thought maybe you could do something to stop it.” Victor will ask stop what. “Killing Matt Clark,” Sienna will reply.
She’ll add that Nick has Matt in his trunk. Victor will tell Sienna she did the right thing by coming to him. Sienna will say she’s worried about Noah, she’s in love with him but she knows they have no future together. She assumes he’ll eventually resent her for everything that’s happened.
At Crimson Lights, Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will see Chelsea working diligently on her laptop. She’ll ask if it’s true that Newman Enterprises is in trouble. Chelsea will deny it, but she’ll text Adam and ask him to meet her at Crimson Lights. She’ll say rumors are gaining speed.
Victoria and Adam will arrive shortly afterward and Chelsea will tell them she’s trying to spin the story. But considering what they wrote about Jabot, it’s ironic they’re now on the receiving end. Victoria will say they’re grateful for all she’s doing.
“No matter how we try to weave our way out of it, Newman Enterprises is sinking and there’s not a damn thing we can do to stop it,” Adam will say. However, Victoria will say she’s not throwing in the towel. She also refuses to let Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) steal everything Victor has built.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam Believes It’s Time To Be Devious
Adam will tell his sister perhaps it’s time for his devious side to come out. Chelsea will say she can’t think of a better cause. “What more can we do to get Cane and Phyllis to show their hands?” Victoria will ask Adam and Chelsea. She’ll add it’s time to put the screws to them. “And break them,” Adam will reply.
Back at the cottage, Noah will tell Nick they need to let the law handle this. He doesn’t want him to pay the price for killing Matt. “I think it would haunt you for the rest of your life.” Then Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will come downstairs and be shocked to see Nick’s not in the hospital.
Noah will bring Sharon up to speed and she’ll admit she and Nick have discussed how they can end Matt’s reign of terror once and for all. “But I’m not on board with this,” she’ll tell her ex-husband. She’ll add she despises Matt. “But he is human and you’re not God.”
Then Victor and Sienna will walk in. He’ll say Sienna told him about their conversation. “Hand Matt Clark over to me,” Victor will say. “I will take care of Matt Clark!” But Nick will say not this time. He’ll tell his father he needs to focus on Newman.
Nick will turn to Sienna and he’ll say he can get rid of her husband. “Not like this, you’ll just turn into another version of Matt,” she’ll reply. Sharon will agree and Victor will reiterate he needs to turn Matt over to him. “I trust your father to take care of Matt and all I ask is that you do the same,” Sharon will say to Nick.
Finally, Nick will ask what Victor will do if he decides to hand him over. “It’s better that no one knows,” Victor will reply. But what will Victor do with Matt? Hold him hostage in his dungeon? Stay tuned!
